Scrappers take AA Championship in Slug Fest

The AA fall Championship was played on Thursday, November 9th between the Scrappers and Indians. The Scrappers came in as favorites but the Indians were the hottest team in the division having fought their way to the Championship after a first round tournament loss. Both teams came out on fire on the coldest night of the year at Mountain Ridge and after trading heavy blows for 4 innings, the game was tied at 12 going into the 5th. The Scrappers finally found an answer to the Indians offense and pulled away for good with 5 runs in the 5th and an insurance run in the 6th enroute to the division Championship.

Thanks Coach Osburn and Coach Drennen for an amazing season and exciting Championship game. Congratulations to the AA Champion Scrappers!
